Myanmar is a country primarily devoted to the Buddhist religion(94.95%), with a smaller muslim religion, and an even smaller Christian influence (0.35%). Currently the country is under a military dictatorship, and undergoing what the UN defines as an ethnic cleansing, which means that one ethnic group by means of terror and violence is removing another ethnic group from the geographical area. Since August 25, 2017, 210 muslim villages have been burned to the ground, about 400 dead, and mass exodus of 400,000 people have sought refuge in neighboring countries.
-Ask the Holy Spirit to soften the hearts of the Burmese towards Christians so that they will be receptive to the Gospel.
-Pray that fleeing civilians may find Christian refuge and thus the gospel.
